Physical Activity
We are thrilled to have received our new disability bike and would like to extend our sincere
gratitude to Variety Ireland for their incredibly generous donation which made this possible.
This wonderful resource will provide opportunities for fun, exercise, inclusion, and
independence, allowing more children to experience the joy of cycling and outdoor activities.
A very special thank you also goes to Louth Disability Cycling Club for organising,
coordinating, and delivering the bike to our school. Your support, dedication, and community
spirit have helped make a real difference for our pupils.
From all the pupils, staff, and families at RBS, thank you for helping us create new
opportunities and happy memories for our children.
Well done to our 5th and 6th Class pupils who represented the school today in Dromiskin at the annual Dynamites Basketball tournament. The boys put in a great shift and impressed everyone with their skill, determination and effort. Teachers from other schools also commented on how polite and well mannered the boys were. We really couldn't be prouder of them. Well done boys!!
Our relay team competed today against schools from across the town for the Calaroga Cup at the Friary field. We are absolutely delighted that the team qualified for the final race and were placed SECOND overall!🥈The boys showed great talent, focus, determination and comradery at the event and did their school and families proud! 🏃♂️🏃♂️👟👟
Thank you to Miss Quigley for training and preparing the boys so well for this competition!
Congratulations to St Nicholas' Monastery National School (De La Salle) on winning the overall competition 👏
