Many thanks to Louth Disability Cycling Club sponsored by Louth Local Sports Partnership for a fantastic morning in Ice House Hill Park. Snacks and Lunch also provided for the boys afterwards. Thanks in particular to Paul Callan and Barry Casey for support in organising.

⚾️ Cumann na mBunscoil Lú recently hosted their hurling qualifying blitzes in Darver. This is thanks to the diligent work of Louth GAA Hurling GDO, Paddy Lynch, and ONE OF OUR OWN, Cumann na mBunscoil hurling officer, Mark Gahan. As a result of their hard work, there has been a resurgence of the small ball game at grass roots level in the county! ⚾️
A record 11 teams competed on the day representing a total of 14 schools from across Louth.
We are so proud of our school team, who qualified for the final of Corn Iomána (emerging schools competition) on 4th June along with St Peter's N.S. Dromiskin. 💪

👏Well done to this group of 6th Class boys who represented our school yesterday at a 7-a-side Blitz in Stabannon Parnells' pitch. They were victorious in ALL their games and move on to the next round of the competition! 💪 Thank you to their class teacher and coach, Mr Gahan, for preparing the boys so well and for accompanying them to the Blitz. ⚽️🥅
