Well done to the boys who represented the school at today's Basketball Blitz in Dromiskin. They very narrowly missed out on a semi final spot and were a credit to the school and to their parents and guardians. We are very proud of the whole basketball squad and are hoping for more gametime before the end of the year. Keep practicing boys! Redeemer abú! 🏀 👍

🎶"We're all part of Sophie's army. She went off to Italy..."🎶
🥊It was both an honour and a privilege to welcome the one and only 'Sophie Curley-Gray' to the school on Friday. We were also delighted that Sophie's mum Diane, her dad Fra and her baby brother Cruz joined us to recognise and celebrate her success. And of course Evan who greeted his big sister along with the rest of the school. 🥊
In the aftermath of an unthinkable tragedy and loss, Sophie flew to Italy and represented her country in the European Junior Championship. She fought her first match a week to the day after her beloved brother Calvin's funeral. To say she is inspirational doesn't even begin to cover it! 🌈
Sophie is obviously a hugely talented sportswoman, but she is so much more than that. Sophie radiates a calm, understated confidence that you don't often find in one so young. She is disciplined, determined and courageous. Sophie has an inner strength that will no doubt take her far in life!
Sophie told the boys, 'TO ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF'. When asked about fighting in a major competition shortly after Calvin's death, she said, 'I TOLD HIM I'D BRING HIM BACK SOMETHING AND I DID!'🎖️💪🥊
