Fifth Class
Welcome to our 5th Class page! Our teacher this year is Ms Thompson and we have been really busy since our return to school this year. We have settled into a nice routine with fun and some serious learning taking place.
We had the amazing opportunity to learn chords and tunes on the Ukulele with Aidan, one of the SNAs. Our Ukulele circle was a real hit every Tuesday and Thursday. Each boy received his own Ukulele with a case.
We had a Living History experience in our classroom where we were able to examine genuine artefacts and memorabilia from WW2 (Even though we were learning about WW1)
Our Reading workshops are happening with lots of enthusiastic discussions taking place.
After school, Mondays are popular with Hurling, Wednesdays are a hit with Ukulele and Thursdays are busy with Basketball.
