The boys put in some great performances during the GAA Blitz on Tuesday last in bright, pleasant conditions at the Sean O Mahony's field. Our first assignment was against the boys from Realt na Mara. This proved to be a very entertaining encounter. Unfortunately, it was a case of 'what might have been' as the opposition keeper put in a man of the match performance to see his side over the line.
Our second game saw us lose out to the eventual winners, CBS. Nevertheless, our boys can be proud of their efforts and look forward to more games in the future.
At the back, Tony, Jake & Sean made sure the opposition had limited opportunities. In midfield, Kyle & Darren battled tirelessly to gain a foothold. Up front, Greg, Shay & Tiernan were in good form and managed to get plenty of scores. Conor & Prosper both had successful stints in Goals and outfield. Keep up the good work and practice boys!
